Source:White, 1902:608 identifies the son Charles Flemming Bernard as born in 1831, d. Nov 9 1880. This is prior to William Plummer Bernards marriage to Mrs. Mary Rhodes. Assuming White has it right, Charles Flemming Bernard was either the son of William Plummer Bernard by a previous marriage, or was Mary Rhodes son by her previous marriage and adopted by Charles Flemming Bernard. Since I don't know which way this goes, I've removed CFB's DOB and DOD to prevent conflict in the GedCom import process. Q 23:23, 24 April 2010 (EDT)
