This was a relatively prosperous family. Mom and Dad were involved with dairy cattle. Some of the sons emigrated to Canada in the early 20th century. Mom, Dad and the rest of the children followed in 1910. Catherine married and moved to the States. I have misplaced her married name. David had a problem with drink and ran off. He eventually settled in Reno, Nevada where he worked as a waiter and bartender from the 1930s to the 1950s. He lived with his wife, Mattie, in Carson City near Reno until his death in 1970. The other children farmed or married farmers in Saskatchewan.
