I have three letters from Glencoe Ala, Post Mark dated 20 May 1921, Feb 1922, and 22 Dec 1922. Only one has a letter in it and the letter is the same date as the Post mark so maybe it is the orginal letter. There are no letters in the other two.

Both of these letters were written on a typewriter. To have a typewritter available in the home is a bit, so maybe they went to work with either the Mother of the Father. A work place that could tolerate young girls under foot. Maybe some type of store, or??? But the letters are written on tablet paper, not bond from a work place. All three letters are addressed to Mr. D.C(?) Nix, Rt #1 Altoona, Ala. This would make it sound like Louiza was living with Daniel Cylvester in the years 1921 and 1922.

(Then because she ran out of room she signed at the bottom with a pencil. Luicele, or Luecile) I assume that both of these girls are sisters, live together, so are named Alexander, and are the daughters of Ethel Isabell (NIX) ALEXANDER.. Now search for an Alexander that married a NIX girl in the early part of the 20th century. )
