    "Hannah (Fosdick) … m. (1) by about 1638 _____ Tingley (on 20 September 1663, at Charlestown, 'Samuell Tingles & Elizabeth Calle' were married [ChVR 1:44); in her will of 29 April 1681, 'Hannah Barratt of Charlstowne' made her first bequest to 'my two grandchildren Samuell & Thomas Tingle,' and then went on to make bequests to her children with James Barrett [MPR 5:169); in his will of 8 July 1672, James Barrett made no bequest to these Tingley boys (MPR 4:176-78); Raymon Meyers Tingley proposed that this first husband for Hannah Fosdick was Palmer Tingley of Ipswich, which may be so, but her husband may just as well have been some other totally unrecorded man of that surname (Tingley-Meyers 115, 377-78]); …"
