... Abner D. and Rebecca M. (Long) Bond - were natives respectively of the Old Dominion and the Keystone State and had located in Ohio for a time previous to their removal to Indiana. The senior Bond was born Feb. 27, 1795, in Virginia, and with three brothers - Joseph, Allen, and John - removed to Belmont county, Ohio, where they engaged in farming. Joseph and Allen lived out the remainder of their lives in Belmont county, but Abner and John removed to Wayne county, Indiana, Abner locating at Cambridge City, ...
