Regarding Mary, third child of William Brooks and his first wife, name unknown: "The Torrey entry for the younger Thomas Lapham of Scituate suggests that his wife might have been this Mary Brooks, but none of the sources listed by Torrey includes any evidence relating to this suggestion."
