    Virginia Bondurant Davidson
    APPOMATTOX - Virginia Bondurant Davidson, 71, of Rte. 4, died Thursday, June 24, 2004, in Avanté of Lynchburg. She was the wife of Thomas Osborne Davidson.
    Born in Appomattox County, May 10, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Rebecca Younger and Wallace Edward Bondurant Sr. Virginia was a life member of Hebron Baptist Church.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Osborne and Diedra Davidson of Statesville, N.C., and Judson Crawford and Sherry Davidson of Appomattox; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca D. and Robert Rankin of Appomattox and Mary Beth D. and Freddie Thomas of Lynchburg; two brothers, Thomas Carter Bondurant and Richard Bondurant, both of Concord; two sisters, Madelyn B. Jackson of Chester and Eloise B. Trent and her husband, Claude, of Charlottesville; nine grandchildren, Destiny, DeAnna, Wendy, Jesse, Kate, T.C., Megan, Aaron, Sydnie; two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Addison; two sisters-in-law, Virginia H. Bondurant of Concord and Marie W. Bondurant of Forest.
    Three brothers, W.E. Bondurant Jr., Clyde M. Bondurant, and William “Billy” Bondurant preceded in death.
    A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2004, at Hebron Baptist Church by the Rev. Mitch Luckie with burial following in the church cemetery.
    The family will receive friends at Hebron Baptist Church from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and others times at the residence.
