Ancestry of Charles Stinson Pillsbury and John Sargent Pillsbury, p. 11, says Mary, d/o Moses and Priscilla, "probably" m. 27 Jan 1725 Timothy Wells, and then Thomas Colby. Page 22, gives no details for Mary, d/o William Pillsbury and Mary Kenny, b. 1702, beyond her birth. Source:Pilsbury, David B. Pillsbury Family, p. 9 and 10, pretty much has the opposite. Moses died in 1701 so his will sheds no light on the matter, and neither source reports any will for William. In a note published in Source:NEHGR, p. 103:317, Winifred Lovering Holman, the daughter of Mary Lovering Holman, published a "correction" that stated that she believed it was the daughter of William who married Timothy Wells and Thomas Colby. She believes the daughter of Moses was actually born earlier than about 1700 as reported, and m. Salisbury 1714 Joseph French, naming her third son Moses.
