  2.   TAG, p. 31:73, gives a daughter Lydia to the wrong John and Hannah Chadwick, attributing it to "Bond, who says she m. Thomas Adams of Worcester, a marriage of which we are not sure". Source:Bond, Henry. Family Memorials. Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855), p. 735, in his corrections and additions, identifies Lydia as the daughter of the John Chadwick who married Hannah Barstow [Chadwick #9], even though in his original coverage of that family, p. 151, he had included no daughter Lydia in this family. Bond cites as his source Source:Locke, John Goodwin. Book of the Lockes : A Genealogical and Historical Record of the Descendants of William Locke, of Woburn ; with an Appendix, p. 48, where it covers John Adams, s/o Thomas and Lydia (Chadwick) Adams. Locke only identifies Lydia's father as "John of Worcester", and it is, indeed, the will of the other John Chadwick, not the one identified by Bond and TAG, who mentions "grandchildren Hannah & John Adams Children of my Daughter Lydia Adams Dec'd", a list of children agreeing with the family of Thomas and Lydia as given by Locke. As shown elsewhere, only one John Chadwick moved to Worcester, and this has caused numerous errors in sources which accept Bond's myth that both did, and in this case, has apparently caused the TAG article to place Lydia in the wrong family.
