↑ Perley, Vol. 2, p. 278, reports the wife's name as Noulton as seen in the marriage record, but gives no identification of her. There is no Noulton family, but a sizable Moulton family, in Salem. Most secondary sources appear to think she was a Moulton. However, the only recorded Hannah Moulton of appropriate age m. Stephen Fuller, so her identity remains a mystery.
