1900 Census

1910 Census

Solomon F, age 55 and Genevieve H, age 49 have been married for 29 years. Genevieve has had 7 children; six are living. They live on a farm in Westport, Maine. He is a mason. Five of their six children live with them: Solomon R, 25; Archie, 23; Alfred J, 20; Ethel R, 18; Helena F, 11. Solomon, Archie and Alfred are farm laborers.

1920 Census

Solomon F and Genevieve Higgins live on a farm in Westport. Solomon is 65, Genevieve is 59. Their daughter Ethel, age 28, lives with them along with her husband Leo F Wass and daughter Leda H Wass (age 4). Solomon is a stone and brick mason. Son-in-law Leo Wass is a shore fisherman.

1930 Census

Solomon F and Genevieve Higgins live on a farm in Westport. Solomon is 75, Genevieve is 69. Their son Robert S Higgins (age 45, widowed) and three daughters live next door; they share a home with Solomon and Genevieve's daughter Ethel Wass, age 38, who is divorced, and Ethel's daughter Leola. Solomon is a general farmer. His son Robert is a poultry farmer.
