Simon Willard married "(1) Marden, Kent, 13 October 1628 Mary Sharp [TAG 80:25]. … Secondary sources have assigned to Simon Willard two additional children beyond those listed … a daughter Elizabeth (supposedly born and died before the birth of the daughter Elizabeth who later married Robert Blood) and a daughter Dorothy, who also died young [Willard Memoir 356; Willard Gen 8]. No evidence has been found for these daughters, who, if they existed, would have been born and buried in England before the family came to New England."
