    link NEHGR 161:37-46 ; In March 1728/9 Samuel and Sarah conveyed right of their land to Thomas Remington which they had gotten from her uncle John Hale of Simsbury. Widow "Late wife of Samuel Hall" Sarah Hall 29 Aug 1738 of Somers named in estate records of her grandfather Timothy Hale.

    David Ball, The Halls of New England 1883 p 571, 696 mixed up the two Samuel Halls. This was corrected in 1993 by Marsha Hoffman Rising "A Maze of Halls in Taunton, Massachusetts" in National Genealogical Society Quarterly NGSQ 91: 19
