Census

From 1850 until 1880, Samuel and Mary B Dodge are found in the census for Wiscasset, Lincoln, Maine. Samuel is described as a mason and as a brick mason. Both were born in Maine. The 1880 census indicates that Samuel's parents were born in Maine. Mary's father was born in England and her mother in Maine.

===1850 Census===. In 1850, Samuel is 56, a mason, with real estate valued at 250. Mary is 55. They are listed in the census next to John and Hannah Sylvester (age 34 and 22 respectively) and the Thomas and Mary Porter families (41 and 26, with children Julia, 3 years and Benjamin, 4 months), whom I believe may be related to Samuel's parents.

1860 Census

In 1860, Samuel is 66, a mason, with real estate valued at 400 and personal estate of 25. His wife Mary is 65. His neighbors are still Thomas and Mary Porter and John and Hannah Sylvester.

1870 Census

In 1870, Samuel and Mary Dodge are both 76. Samuel is a Brick Mason, with real estate valued at 300 and perosnal estate of 100. In the same home, but a separate household are John (age 54) and Hannah (age 42) Sylvester, who have a 1 year old (Ida A B?). John Sylvester has a personal estate of $2,700 (he is a shoemaker). Thomas Porter, farmer, remains a neighbor.

1880 Census

In 1880, Samuel Dodge is 84 and Mary B is 85. Samuel is a brick mason. Their neighbors have changed - John and Hannah Sylvester are in a different part of the census (and seem to have similar neighbors as they have had in the past, such as Dickenson), so I think Samuel and Mary are the ones who are likely to have moved.
