Miss Martha Clara Gano, daughter of Gen. R. M. Gano, was married last evening at 6:30 o'clock to Mr. R. D. Lightfoot of Paris. The wedding took place at the residence of the bride's brother, Mr. W. B. Gano, in Oak Lawn, in the presence of about 150 guests. The bride's father performed the ceremony. The floral decorations were in chysanthemums and carnations, a separate color scheme carried out in each of the parlors; the first parlor, where the ceremony was performed, was in white and green. The choicest and most beautiful palms and ferns were grouped at the end of the ribbon aisle, and arched by ropes of smilax, falling from a carnation wedding bell, under which the bridal party stood. The bride wore white crepe de chine over satin, trimmed with lace and narrow frills; the bodice had yoke and sleeves of shirred crepe, embroidered with pearls and lace-trimmed. Miss Carrie Field was maid of honr, and wore white organdie over pale-blue silk; Miss Lillian Gano and Miss Jessie Gray, the bridesmaids, in white organdie over pink. They all carried la France roses. Little Mary Watts Knight and Katherine McLaurin were the flower girls.

Mrs. Lee Gano and Mr. maurice Gano, the bride's brothers, and Mr. F. J. Bell were attendants, and Dr. Dunlap and Mr. R. E. Terrell were ushers. Miss Bessie Brown played the wedding march. Mrs. H. L. McLaurin received the guests, assisted by a house party, including Mrs. Jules D. Schneider, Miss Schneider, Mrs. J. L. Henry, Mrs. Pat Henry, the Misses Alexander, Miss Nellie Allen, Miss Oram, Miss Chilton, Mrs. R. E. L. Knight, Mrs. Ida McLaurin, Mrs. Judge McLaurin, Mrs. J. A. Pondrom, Mrs. L. Tobin of Austin, Miss Barton, Mrs. H. A. Craycroft, Mrs. Tom Field, Mrs. R. E. Cowart and the Misses Lightfoot.
