Family:Robert Baily and Cassinda Gaylor (1)

Robert S. Baily was born November 21, 1835 and on May 20, 1859 he married Cassinda Gaylor who was born April 1, 1 841 and passed away October 5, 1905. I don't have his death date but he is buried in Rockfield Cemetery but there is no death date. They were the parents of four children:

a. Joanna Baily, born in May 1860 and on September 25, 1880 in Fountain Co. she married Riley Butt who was born in October 1856 and passed away in 1920, I believe, and was the son of John and Margaret(Trinkle) Butt and they are both interred in Rockfield Cemetery. They were the parents of two children:
i. Alice F. Butt, born September 2, 1882 and passed away April 19, 1909. I have information that she was married for a time to Everett Gill, but some of the family questions this. She was laid to rest in Rockfield Cemetery also.
ii. Robert Butt, born in December 1884 and on March 11, 1909 he married Gertrude Butt who was born April 8, 1890 in Fountain Co. She was the daughter of Jonathan and Rester (McKinney) Butt. Robert passed away December 5, 1937 and she passed away June 6, 1988 and they both were laid to rest in Rockfield Cemetery. They were the parents of one daughter:
1. Edna Louise Butt, born in 1912 and passed away March 18, 1913.

b. Elsworth Elmer Baily, born in 1866.

c. Thomas J Baily, born in 1869.

d. Etta Baily was born April 3, 1874 in Fountain Co. and in 1893 she married Edward King who was born in August 8, 1873 and passed away March 12, 1949 and she on December 5, 1953 and they were both laid to rest in Cole Springs Cemetery north of Veedersburg. They were the parents of seven children:
i. Robert King, born November 17, 1898 in Fountain Co and passed away November 22, 1965, He never married.
ii. Richard King.
iii. Susie King, born in August 1896 and married a "Shultz"
iv. Cash King, born in 1896.
v. Versa King, born in 1897
vi. Riffle King, born in 1901
vii. Kenneth King, born in 1903
