[from Scope and Content] Covenant: between Jane Colles of Preston Magna, co. Northampton, widow, late wife of Richard Colles, gent., deceased, Edward Edwardes of Alwalton co. Huntingdon, gent., and William Trist of Maydforde, co. Northampton, gent.; and Elizabeth Colles, widow, late wife of Peter Colles, gent., deceased, son and heir of the said Richard and Thomas Love of Navesbie, co. Northampton, gent., (i) the said Elizabeth to pay upon reasonable request one moiety of the legacies mentioned in the will of Peter Colles of which will said Elizabeth and Jane are executrixes, rendering compensation to the said Jane for non-payment of the said moiety; (ii) similar covenant by the said Jane, Edward, and William; (iii) William Flamsted and Henry Adams to divide the remainder of the goods, chattles, household things and corn of Richard Colles and Peter Colles not yet divided by the said Elizabeth and Jane: the said Elizabeth to enjoy one moiety and the said Jane the other; (iv) one moiety of the debts due to Peter Colles to be paid to the said Jane and the other to the said Elizabeth - the sum of £300 from John Shukburgh excepted; (v) of the said £300 owing by John Shukburgh £100 to be paid to the said Jane Colles and £200 to the said Elizabeth Colles.
