  3. Source:Whipple, Blaine. 15 Generations of Whipples, p. 1529 gives this marriage a son Paul Faulkner [source 67]. On p. 1533, a son Paul "date and place of birth unknown" is mentioned but not shown. Source 67 appears to be Boxford births, 95 (not clear due to extensive use of ibid). No Faulkner records are found in either the published Boxford VRs or the scanned images available online. But the mere fact that a listing of births is cited for a child whose "date and place of birth is unknown" suggests some confusion. No such son Paul is listed in Source:Abbott, Charlotte Helen. Abbott Genealogies/Early Records of the Faulkner Family of Andover, p. 12. Given the short duration of the marriage, Oct 1714 to Dec 1715, it seems unlikely there could possibly be a second child. A son Paul was born to the second wife in 1737.
