Patrick and Lucinda were married by Rev. F. X. Labonte. Their witnesses were Joseph Ryan, Jane Girardot, Maurice Girardot, and Ellen Ryan.

Patrick was a railroad section foreman and a farmer.

They didn't have children.

Patrick and Lucinda lived at Gar Creek in Allen County, Indiana. My grandmother, Etta Falls Townsend remembered the farm of Uncle Pat and Aunt Lucindy. They had a big shepard dog that guarded the farm, and no one came up to the house until they told the dog it was okay.

Patrick was 85 years, 1 month and 8 days old when he died.

Patrick's obituary reads, "Services for Patrick Thomas Ryan, 85, will be Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at the residence, R. R. 2, Gar Creek Road, New Haven, and at 9 a.m. at the St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Ryan died at 5:50 a.m. Monday at his home. A native of Allen County, he lived here all his life and had been a section foreman for the Wabash Railroad for 43 years. He retired in 1931. Mr. Ryan was a member of St. Louis Church and was a honoray member of St. Vincent de Paul Society. Surviving are the wife, Lucinda; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ort, Ft. Wayne; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Harper Funeral Home in New Haven after noon today. The body will be returned to the residence at 2 p.m. Wednesday." Lucinda was 87 years, 9 months and 13 days old when she died.

Lucinda's obituary reads, "Services for Mrs. Lucinda Ryan, 87, R. R. 2, New Haven, will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the E. Harper & Sons Funeral Home, New Haven, and at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon, the Rev. Andrew Mathieu officiating. Mrs. Ryan died at 3:20 a.m. yesterday in the Parkview Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient five weeks. A lifelong resident of Allen County, she recently made her home with a nephew, Edgar Ort at 1620 Maumee Ave. She was a member of the St. Louis Church. Several nieces and other nephews survive. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today. The Rosary Society will hold services there at 8 p.m. today." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Tuesday 28 May 1957, pg. 12.]

They are both buried at the Besancon Cemetery at St. Louis Catholic Church in New Haven, Indiana.
