- ↑ The death record of daughter Esther (Ward) Jones here,line 67, gives the maiden name of her mother as Mitchell. Oliver Ward signed an agreement of heirs of Edward Ward in 1818 though not from that family, so he clearly married a daughter of Edward. The marriage record to Oliver has not been found, so it is possible (though unlikely due to age considerations) that she was married before, but no earlier marriage of Dolly to a Mr. Mitchell has been found. This appears to be an error.
