"Obadiah Dickinson m. (2) Martha, dau. of Joseph and Mary (Warner) Waite. She was b. Oct. 7, 1724, d. Nov. 18, 1785. She bore him 19 children, as we learn from his own records, still extant, through the history of Hadley only enumerates 12 of them" [Note: the family records referenced have not been located.]
↑ No guardian is appointed for daughter Mary Dickinson in Mar 1748/49 as heir to the mother of Obadiah's first wife Mary Belding, suggesting she is the daughter of his second wife. Her gravestone gives her death in 1819, "aged 71", so born about 1748. This suggests the first wife's death 10 Feb 1747 is 10 Feb 1746/47 and Martha may have married in late 1747 or early 1748, and had daughter Mary in 1748, or 1749.
