    RICKER FAMILY REUNION.

A reunion of the Ricker family was held at the birthplace of the seven brothers. Acton, Me., Wednesday. Aug. 26. Among the families represented were the widow, children and grandchildren of Veazie P. Ricker of Winsor street, Cambridgeport; of Carr and John Ricker, Biddeford; Mr. Ebenezer Ricker, Lyman; Mr. Jeremiah Ricker, Wakefield, N.H.; Mr. Daniel Ricker, Acton, Me., and Dr. R. Ricker of Lewiston. Me. The afternoon was spent in listening to vocal and instrumental music, also recitations by Guy and Marion Ricker, Emma Young and Carr Howe. All had anticipated a delightful time, as this was their first reunion, and all returned home with not one dissenting vote from the opinion that their anticipations had been fully realized.

  2.   This article in the Cambridge Chronicle poses some interesting problems. The only brother to have passed as of Aug 1896, according to the article, was "Veazie", though this could be a misreading of the article. Jeremiah and Carr had also passed away before this reunion. As of Mar 2014, no definitive information is known concerning John, Ebenezer and Daniel.
