According to Walter Goodwin DavisS2 the Elizabeth Safford born 27 Feb 1670, daughter of John and Sarah (Low) Safford married Alexander Lovell in 1697, and the Elizabeth Safford born 3 Aug 1670, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Baker) Safford, was Elizabeth Brown in 1701, probably wife of John Brown. There was no other Elizabeth Safford of Ipswich available to have been married to Nathan Wheeler.
