Louis was baptised by Rev. F. X. Labonte. His witnesses were Ed Girardot and Ida Gladieux.

Louis and Rose were married by Rev. P. F. Veniard. Their witnesses were Francois Gladieux and Ida Gladieux.

Rose was 26 years, 11 months and 11 days old when she died.

Rose's obituary reads, "Yesterday morning in Jefferson township occurred the death of Mrs. Louis S. Gladio, daughter-in-law of ex-County Commissioner Gladio. The funeral will be held Sunday at 12 o'clock from the Besancon church." [Fort Wayne Journal, Saturday 2 Mar 1895, pg. 1]

She is buried at the Besancon Cemetery at the St. Louis Catholic Church in New Haven, Indiana.
