    Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Anna R. Knouse, of Arendtsville, and Lee O. Carbaugh, of Biglerville, which took place at Alexandria, Va., on August 24th last. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Knouse, of Arendtsville, and taught for a number of years in the public schools of Adams County. For the past two years she has been emloyed in Lancaster as a bookkeeper. Mr. Carbaugh is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carbaugh, of Biglerville. He was graduated from Gettysburg College in 1913 and is now a student in the middle class at the Reformed Theological Seminary, Lancaster. The announcement of the wedding was a big surprise to the couple's friends.
