  3. Some sources report the marriage date as 24 Mar 1664/65 (e.g., Transactions of the Colonial Society of Massachusetts,Vol. 6, p. 39; Source:Doherty, Frank J. Settlers of the Beekman Patent, Dutchess County, New York, Vol. 4, p. 67; Source:Coles, H. R. Remsen. Genealogical Record of the Davison, Davidson, Davisson Family of New England, p. 15; others). Source:Savage, James. Genealogical Dictionary of the First Settlers of New England, Vol. 2, p. 24 appears to be one the earliest sources with the date 24 Mar. However, Coles seems to indicate Middlesex County Records as his source, and this may represent a discrepancy between the town records (presumably the source of the published vital records) and the copy that was sent to the county. Access to the original documents would probably be helpful.
