History of the Brigham Family : A Record of Several Thousand Descendants of Thomas Brigham the Emigrant, 1603-1653, Vol. 1, p. 102, reports the marriage date as 12 Jul 1727, and Vol. 2, reports no correction. The is no indication of the source of this date, nor acknowledgment of a discrepancy. Note: the Marlborough VRs report the marriage of Ruth's sister Mary to David Bruce on the same date, 20 Feb 1726/27. If this was a family genealogy, one might suspect a bookkeeping error, but in a collection of vital records, unless the records were consecutive, this probably couldn't happen, and if they were consecutive, then it would be likely they occurred at the same time. It will probably require checking handwritten records to resolve this.
