    [Deacon] Jonathan2 Sanderson (Edward1) was born at Watertown 14 Sept. 1646 and died at Waltham, Mass., 3 Sept. 1735 (g.s.). He married 24 Oct. 1669 Abiah Bartlett, daughter of Ensign Thomas and Hannah Bartlett, born at Watertown 28 May 1651 (Bond), died there in September of 1723 (g.s.). Both Jonathan and Abiah are buried in the Grove Hill Cemetery on Main Street, Waltham.
    Children, born in Cambridge (Paige, p. 561, Bond, p. 417): i) Abiah 25 Oct. 1673 (twin); ii) Jonathan, b. 25 Oct 1673 (twin); iii) Thomas, b. 10 March 1674/5; iv) John b. 25 Mar 1677; v) Benjamin, b. 28 May 1679, d. unmar., prior to his father; vi) Samuel b. 28 May 1681; vii) Edward, b. 3 March 1683/4; and viii) Hannah, b. 31 May 1689.
