In 1870 the Tuttle family is living with John Johns(t)on and his family. John has several kids, but no wife. If this is the John Johnston from my tree, in 1860 it didn't show any kids....so I am going to track the Tuttle's to see if John was married to a Tuttle and if these kids were hers from a previous marriage.

The 1870 census included John and Margaret and kids James, William, Alferette, Margaret, John and John Lee

in 1870 John and and his wife Margaret are living in Calwell co., Texas. Margaret's birth is off by about 9 years (are the dates wrong or two different wives?)

There are three daughters, Martha, Susan and Mary, as well as James B.
