↑Source:Henley, Thomas Shaw. Descendants of Thomas Skillin of Falmouth (Now Portland), Maine and Allied Families, p. 294, says this marriage occurred in Mar 1811, no day specified. The source is the research of Glenn B. Skillin. Henley shows a son Noyes P. Skillin, b. 6 May 1810, which if accepted, would strongly suggest he is right, with the mother dying around that time, and a remarried in 1811 resulting in the next child b. 1812. No birth record is found for Noyes to verify his birth and parentage, though his gravestone says he was 42 when he died in 1852.
