    (3960) JOHN OLMSTED, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 1692; d. bef. Jan., 1749- (some authorities say 1788-9); m. Feb. 29, 1717-1718, Mary Small; dau. of Robert Small (transient), sometime of Norwalk, Conn. It is said that he died and she married again and had two children, viz. : a son, Gardner and a daughter.
