In Source:Essex Genealogist (Massachusetts) (Essex Society of Genealogists),Vol. 9, p. 129, a list of church members in Reading on 3 Jan 1720/1 includes "John Merrow Junr", "Ann ye wife of Jno Merrow Junr.", and "Rebecca Davis widdow". Ann died about 7 months later, and the widow Davis is probably the Rebecca Davis that John married. It is possible that she is the "Rebecka Pore" who married 24 May 1697 Joshua Davis, but supporting evidence, such as his death date is needed. They seem to be the only Davis couple having a wife named Rebecca in that time period in Reading.
