  3. Some sources (e.g., Source:Alden, Mrs. Charles L. Elizabeth (Alden) Pabodie and Descendants, p. 94) attribute son Asa to this marriage, but Esther's father only names three grandchildren in his will: Judah, John and Mary. Asa's baptism in Duxbury is 31 Oct 1756 (Duxbury VRs, p. 95) and he probably belongs to the second wife, as is, for example, reported in Source:General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Mayflower Families through Five Generations, Vol. 3(George Soule), p. 55 and Source:Harlow Family, Descendants of Sgt. William Harlow 1624/5-1691 of Plymouth, Massachusetts, p. 193 (though the last makes a typo in his baptism date, switching 1756 to 1765).
