- ↑ This couple's first child, Elizabeth, was born, according to the published New Haven vital records, 18 Feb 1694. Jacobus follows that date with "[?1697]" based on her reported age of 78-10 at the time of her death, 2 Jan 1776. Since the next three children were born 1699, 1701 and 1703, it appears that Elizabeth may well have been born in 1697 instead of 1694.
