  2. Source:Anderson, Robert Charles. Great Migration: Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635, Vol. 1 (A-B), p. 426, shows Lydia as the second wife and only mother of the last child, Nathaniel. This is probably because John's will mentions a payment by father in law William Buckland "the portion hee was to give mee in marriage with my wife and was to bee payed mee in the yeare 1660". The assumption of Anderson appears to be that the payment was to be at the time of marriage, hence that Lydia married John in 1660. The above cited Bosworth Genealogy assumes that Lydia was the first child of Lydia Buckland, hence married to John Brown by 1656, assuming the date to be paid was not necessarily the date of marriage.
