↑ Source:Roser, Susan E. Mayflower Births and Deaths, p. 213, lists a child Rainy Bears, "b. pre 1750". No further information. No record of such a child, either at birth or later, has been located. The father's 1761 estate was insolvent, so contains no list of children. AFNs list the child with a birth about 1748 but this appears to be pure speculation. The only child assigned a guardian was Levi. No guardian for Rainy suggests a birth before 1743 for a female, before 1740 for a male, or a death before 1761. Without more context, it is hard to know if this was a nickname for a child already recorded?
