"John Alden, my son, married Lois Southworth daughter of Gideon Southworth of Rochester, and settled in Dartmouth now call New Bedford - their offspring are Mary, Sarah (died young), John, Lydia, Sally, Lois, Gideon, Seth and Nathan."
