John Tripp gave a receipt to "Rose weeden Executrex to Anthony Paine Deceaste" for his wife's share of the estate on the "18th day of march 1650".
[Another receipt given in this same source names "Rose Paine" on "27th of october 1649". This tells us the marriage was between those two dates. It also tells us that the interpretation of the first date as 18 Mar 1650/51 seen in one source is probably wrong, and it should probably be interpreted as 18 Mar 1649/50, which also happens to be more in line with normal usage, March being considered the first month of the new year.]
