The current child list is based on a "concensus" of data in Ancestry family trees for this couple/ There is, however, considerable variation for the children's DOB's as given on Ancestry.

Ancestry, Grant Pinnax, 23 June 2010 provides an alterantive data set that should be considered.

If Grant's DOB's are accepted than a DOM of about 1718 is indicated (vice 1730), which would force James's DOB back to c. 1695. Under this interpretation he could not be the son of Robert born 1692 (as commonly cited). Either a) these DOB's below are in error, or b) Robert's DOB is considerably earlier than indicated, or b) this is a different James Walker. Could James of the Swatera Creek Walkers have left that area and moved across the River to Cumberland late in life? Probably not, given a significant disconnect in the child list of thatPerson: James Walker (161), and the children listed in this James will.
