History of North Brookfield, Massachusetts, p. 513 (and various other secondary sources, e.g., Source:Pease, Charles Stanley. History of Conway, Massachusetts, 1767-1917, p. 253), pairs Ithamar with Miriam b. 25 Mar 1727, d/o Thomas and Mary Bartlett, which is extremely unlikely due to the age difference of 23 years. The newer Source:Hibner, Aldis Everard. Genealogy of the Descendants of Joseph Bartlett of Newton, Massachusetts for Seven Generations, p. 44, more appropriately identifies his wife as Miriam, b. 1754, d/o Elijah Bartlett and Bathsheba Gilbert, niece of the older Miriam Bartlett. Of course, being secondary sources, none bothers to give any evidence for their identification.
