Will of "Ambrose Gibbins of Oyster River in the Toune of Dover in New England", dated 11 Jul 1656, proved 9 May 1657, names as heir "Grandchild samuel sherburne the son of Henry sherburne", paying to "Henry Sherborn's children Elizabeth Mary Henry John Ambrose Sarah and Rebeckah or any more which may be lawfully begotten by rebeckah sherborne the wife of Henry sherborne being the daughter of Ambrose Gibbins" £21 when they come of age.
