  2. As with most of Henry's vital information, the circumstances of Henry and Minnie's marriage vary from source to source.

For some reason, Minne took the maiden name of her mother, Eva Cohen, as her maiden name on her marriage license application.

According to the 1930 census, Minnie was age 39 in 1920 and age 17 when she married Henry. If they were married in 1909, as the marriage license application indicates, then the census would place her year of birth at around 1892 by both accounts. According to the 1920 census, Minnie was age 27 at that time. This would place her year of birth around 1893.

Yet the marriage license application indicates that Minnie was born on December 18, 1885 (or 1883, depending on how one reads the handwriting).

To further complicate matters, a Social Security Death Index entry for a Minnie Anflick from Philadelphia indicates a birthdate of June 16th 1889.
  3. Marriage license issued: January 25, 1909.
