George, Jr. and Mary Ellen were married at St. Louis Catholic Church at Besancon by Rev. P. J. Veniard. Their witnesses were Choralus Ternet and Anna Giant. George was baptised the night before their wedding by Rev. Veniard. His baptismal name was "Georgium Townsend." His sponsors were Charolus Ternet and Ludivoca Townsend.

They had no children.

In 1920 they lived on Main Street in New Haven, Indiana. At September 15, 1930, they lived at Hamilton Lake, Indiana.

They are buried at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.
