District of the County of York, Division of Aurora[?]
25 Apr 1899. George Wesley Phillips, 25, living in Brougham, born in Brougham, Pickering twp, bachelor, farmer, son of John Phillips and Mary Perkins, married Frances J Newbery, 22, living in Aurora, born in Aurora, spinster, daughter of Robert Newbery and Eliza Arnold.

This is the first instance where Jane or Jennie uses Frances Jane in place of Jane Elizabeth.

The page in the registration book omits the Division of York County that is covered. It is assumed to be the bride's home of Aurora, but her mother was married in Toronto, despite always having lived in Aurora.
