    Ephraim tinkham of midleborough and Sarah Standish of hallifax was Joined in marriage January 5th 1759 [sic, see comment] by ye Reverend mr william Patten of hallifax.
    [Note: based on the date of both of the intentions, this is probably 1758. The surrounding records are also marriages by the same minister, and the preceding one is Feb 1758, and the following one is May 1758, so admittedly somewhat equivocal, but suggesting 1758 by context. The Halifax intention is on p. 59: "december 19th 1757 an intention of marriage between mr Ephraim Tinkham of Midleborough and ms Sarah Standish of Hallifax has been Lawfully published in hallifax".]
