↑ Elijah & Rachel's residence from time of marriage until about 1796, appears to be Thompson Parish, organized as Town of Thompson in May 1785, after several rejected petitions for Town status, starting in 1727. This parish was under the jurisdiction of the Town of Killingly beginning in 1708. Resulting, the marriage and births of some of their children appear in both Killingly & Thompson VR. About 1796, Elijah, Rachel & their younger children followed the elder children to the area of Sharon, VT.
