The date is exactly suitable for the marriage of our Edmund Sheafe to Joan (Jordan) Kitchell, who … probably married a second time and had one son after the death of John Kitchell in 1602. If this is the marriage of our Edmund Sheafe, as it well may be, Joan's second husband was named Lake.
