Brag, Ebenezer [int. Bragge of Shrosbarah] and Sarah [int. Saray] Burnap, Feb. 2, 1738. [Brag, and Saray ---, Feb. 2, 1737, CR1] [Presumably, Shrosbarah is a misspelling of Shrewsbury.]
Brag, Ebenezer and Sary Burnap of Hopkinton, Feb. 2, 1738. In Hopkinton.
Speculation: Based on their first son named Benjamin (Shrewsbury VRs, p. 19), this is probably Sarah Burnap, b. Reading, 31 Aug 1713, d/o Benjamin Burnap and Elizabeth Newhall (Reading VRs, p. 46). Benjamin Burnap Sr. was elected deacon in Hopkinton in 1725. History of Shrewsbury, p. 138-166, has an extensive discussion of Ebenezer's (and others) attempts to be dismissed to the church in Hopkinton 1735-1739.
