    Daniel Yourth and Miss Lydia Coal, a Golden Lake couple, were married recently at the Evangelical parsonage there, Rev. C. R. Kauth officiating.

    Golden Lake: Many relatives and friends attended the funeral Saturday afternoon of Daniel Yourth, a well known and active citizen of Golden Lake, whose death occurred unexpectedly in Pembroke Cottage Hospital.
    The service was held in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, of which he had been choir leader for 22 years, and was conducted by Reverend A M Schlenker, assisted by Reverend E.N. Mohr of Pembroke while a former pastor, Reverend J.N. Wettlaufer of Arnprior, and Mrs. Wettlaufer sang a duet and the choir also rendered a selection.

    Chief morners were his wife the former, Lydia Coal, three sons, Nelson, Neale and Harold at home. Three daughters, Mrs. Edward Wagner, Chalk River, Marion, Deep River and Jean at home. His mother, Mrs. Mary Yourt, (former Mary Louise Schmidt) one sister Mrs. Earl Griffith, (Martha Yourth) Killaloe, two brothers, George, Golden Lake and Reuben, Timmins and one grandchild.

    Honorary pall bearers were present and former members of the municipal council, John C. Thur, John E. Luloff, Alex Layman, Earl Griffith, Albert Thur, Clifford Thur and August Schoenfeldt.

    Those from a distance attending the funeral included, Mrs. Wesley Millar (former Esther Whitzel) Almira, Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery, Stanley Stead, Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Milks and Mr. and Mrs. L Bonnenfant, Ottawa: Mrs. Bartlet and family, Kingston and Mrs. Reuben Yourth and family Timmins. Mrs. Joe Pearson, Kirkland Lake....
