Sarah (Roe) … m. before 1671 Daniel Warner. … Apparently Daniel Warner had a former wife by whom he had a son Daniel, b. abt. 1667, since the son Daniel survived but was not named in the will of Hugh Roe.
↑ Robert Charles Anderson, in the Great Migration sketch of John Warner (7:242), says that this marriage occurred before 1667. Although he cites Mr. Roberts' 1933 TAG article, he does not address the conclusion, based on the lack of mention of Daniel Warner (born c. 1667) in the will of Hugh Roe, that Daniel Warner (born c. 1645) must have had an unknown first wife prior to his marriage to Sarah Roe.
